Beginning this past summer I started to work with Zac Rowe at Delmarva Rommel Harley-Davidson. I was looking to purchase a Fat Boy and overtime one came into the dealership he would call me and let me know. Then the new 2018 Softails and like many others the new Fat Boy caught my eye. I was told at the dealership by Zac during Bike Week that there was one at the Convention Center and I went to see it. Upon seeing it I knew I wanted one. Finally a new one came into the dealership and Zac called me to let me know. I went in to see it on Oct. 21 and we began to negotiate. It took most of the afternoon and help from Shane, and the general manager Jack. but the final deal was exemplary and I rode away happily on my new Fat Boy. Thank you Zac for all your hard work!

Took my Tri-Glide in to Delmarva for its 5K service and a new tech went over the trike with a magnifying glass and was trying to tell me I had scratches on the trike and wanted to notate it on the service ticket. I called him out on it and he called Trey who has worked there for awhile and he told the new guy that it was not scratches but marks in the simonize from a micro-fiber cloth. I appreciated the help from a guy who knows what he's talking about. As long as Trey is there I'll continue to use them as my dealer.

Rommel HD is the BEST Harley Davidson dealer I have ever had the pleasure to deal with! Every aspect of their company is pleasant and easy to deal with. The staff is friendly, very courteous and willing to explain things you may not understand no matter which department you visit. Service has to be my favorite! They are EXTREMELY concerned about the safety factor of my/your ride and do everything possible to make you feel important and like you matter to them. My all around experience with them is completely off the charts and I highly recommend them to everyone I know and don't know. You can't go wrong with dealing with ANY of the Rommel HD companies!

"My wife and I rode my 2012 Iron 883 from NJ to DE with thoughts of upgrading to a bigger bike. Scott, one of the sales managers put us in touch with Joe Pleasant, one of Rommel's salesman. This was the start of one of the best sales experiences I have ever had. Joe took us around the entire showroom, showed up some bikes that were outside, and even showed us his personal bike, all so we could get a feel for every option available to us. Once we made our decision he took us for a test ride so we could be sure that was the bike we wanted. When we got back from the test ride, after some preliminary paperwork, they bought us lunch and let us relax a bit while Joe took care of the rest. By the time we were finished eating, our paperwork was ready. We did a poker run around to all of the different departments and finished at the finance office to sign all the paperwork. From beginning to end this was by far one of the most fun and relaxing big purchase experiences I have ever had. If you're ever buying a Harley, go to Rommel's in New Castle, and see Joe Pleasant. I told him that I might be looking to trade in my Gold Wing as it was not practical to my riding. "Went to the New Castle store to look at a used Road King that was sent up from Delmarva location. I thought it was great they offered that. I was met by Joe Pleasant who started out by asking what I was looking for. He really went in to finding out what type of riding I would be doing and what bike best suited my needs. I have always been fearsome of dealing with vehicle sales people due to the high-pressure attempts to get you to buy right away. Joe was great and moved more bikes around then needed so I could see them in different light. "I'm shopping for a bike. I went in to the Smyrna Store with my husband & uncle & met Bryan McDermott. You have 3 different bike owners Harley, Honda & Yamaha. I'm looking to step up from what I presently own & the information/ knowledge he shared with us was Awesome! My husband owns a 2008 Harley Electra Glide Standard & the way the things have changed has his attention & my uncles who owns a Honda Goldwing! The bikes now are more stream line with the front flaring, the detailing on the windshield to push the air up & over, the saddle bags being a 1 touch finger push/open verses 2 hands to get into these bags & the engines are now liquid cooled. Also, at 25 miles per hr. or above when you apply the front brake or foot brake they both apply pressure evenly. My Oh My the changes that have been made! I'm looking for a bike thats not to heavy, want my feet flat on the ground & Bryan listened & says he will keep his eyes open for me for a bike. His Knowledge & Excellent Customer Service has gotten our attention! My uncle is thinking about a new Harley Bryan showed him & hes a Honda Goldwing owner! Customer Service should be sold like any other commodity & if you're not doing customer service then the customer's not getting their moneys worth! Bryan did Customer Service today."

"Hello Christian, Thanks for the call and the email today. To say that I am pleased with the bike is an understatement. While I enjoyed the FLHX, the Road King Classic, at least for me, is an amazing machine. I feel much more comfortable on the bike. For lack of a more eloquent way to describe it, the Classic fits me. She is The Bike. The reach of the bars, angle of the seat, and seat height are spot on and makes the ride so much better. I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying another Classic when I bought the FLHX, but, that is the way things go sometimes. Even though I am still breaking in the motor and haven't really gotten on the throttle, I can tell that she just wants to go. 103 cubic inches is nice to have at the ready. The color? Sweet. I've had 4 or 5 people roll down their windows at stoplights asking me what kind of bike it is, where did I get it, what is the name of the color, etc. I had no real intention of buying a bike when I walked in, but you took the time and laid everything out on the table with no high pressure sales tactics. I greatly appreciate that. You and Debbie also stayed an hour after closing time and didn't try to rush me out. That says a lot. Whenever I get the chance, I will try and steer people to come see you. Now comes the hard part, what mufflers to get? Hmmm..... Again, thank you. The bike rocks. Very happy is putting it mildly. I call her Ophelia."

The only negative feedback would be towards HD in general. The parts / labor / accessories in general are severely overpriced and they are really pricing themselves out of the game!Other than that it was an excellent experience.
